Half a year later…

Sometimes you just need your best friends to help you get your head out of your ass.

I don’t know why, but I was thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend of six months, who has done absolutely nothing “wrong”. It’s just painfully slow to get him to open up and let me in, and well, he’s a typical boy. He gets his knowledge on women from porn. Oh, and his job has made him into a zombie.

So what do I do when I’m indecisive? Get drunk and play Mario Kart Wii with one of my close friends.

I don’t remember what Gus said, but it was pretty damn convincing. Too bad he doesn’t remember either!

And suddenly, just like that, my faith in Mike’s and mine relationship is completely restored, and I love him more than I did before.

What I learned? Don’t make big life decisions without an advisory board. And Rum. =)
